Two new publications from the KAMA (Kai Anamata mō Aotearoa) research programme are now available, capturing recent thinking around the future of Aotearoa’s food system.
The first report captures outcomes from a regional wānanga held in Te Tauihu, where participants explored how mātauranga Māori, regenerative agriculture, and localised food systems could inform the development of a resilient regional food strategy. Download the publication here.
The second summarises the findings of two national-level stakeholder workshops that informed the development of a computational model of Aotearoa’s food system. This model will be used to explore future scenarios, incorporating environmental, economic, social, and cultural dimensions of food system change. Download the publication here.
